A little bit about me:

Hey Everyone! I'm Jordan Robison.

I’m a creative and detail-oriented 3D Generalist with a passion for video game development and environment design. My expertise lies in 3D modeling, texturing, world-building, and a strong understanding of scene composition, lighting, color, and materials—all of which help me craft immersive, high-quality game assets.

My journey into the industry began in high school, where I took a 3D animation course that introduced me to Autodesk Maya and the fundamentals of 3D art. Because of that class, in 2014 I had the incredible opportunity to join a select group of students on a trip to Los Angeles, California, where we toured several art schools specializing in film and game development. We also visited industry studios and met professional artists, even sharing a memorable conversation with a few at Moore’s Delicatessen.

During that trip, I was introduced to the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games, and Animation, and from that moment, I knew it was where I wanted to be. A few years later, I was accepted into Gnomon’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Production program. Gnomon is an intense and fast-paced school—what could be considered a bootcamp for 3D artists—where students are expected to produce high-quality work while managing multiple challenging courses. My time there pushed me to develop a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise while preparing me for the competitive world of film and game production.

After graduating, I joined Brain Zoo Studios, where I contributed to LEGO 2K Drive, Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising, and Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3. My role involved environment art, lighting, real-time VFX, and various technical aspects within Unreal Engine. I later expanded my experience through freelance work with Massive Black, Inc., further honing my skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Now, I’m excited to take on new challenges, grow as an artist, and help bring visually stunning and immersive gaming experiences to life. My training at Gnomon has prepared me to thrive in high-pressure environments, solve complex creative and technical problems, and collaborate effectively with teams to transform ideas into reality.
